To help with that, we’ve compiled a few of the most recent frequently asked questions about Invisalign that we get here in the office, listed below. 1. Are the Trays REALLY Clear?
Yes! Invisalign is made from a thin medical-grade polyurethane that is optically clear, meaning to the eye, it’s practically invisible. The trays are thinner than what you get with whitening trays, and are custom molded to your mouth, so it’s easier to speak and less noticeable than a bulky mouthguard. Each Invisalign tray is custom tailored to your mouth, so they “fit like a glove.”
2. How Do I Know I Can Afford Invisalign?

4. How Exactly Does Invisalign Work?
Through a series of removable trays that are molded specifically to your mouth, Invisalign works to gradually move teeth into proper position. Using 3D computer imaging technology (woah…that sounds totally nerdy), the trays are molded by your doctor (technically a machine *molds* the trays, but you know what I mean), specifically for your situation. Typically the trays are worn 22 hours per day, and only removed for brushing, eating, taking selfies, etc.
