Whew! Can you believe 2014 is gone? If you’re like us here at Saddle Creek Ortho, it has flown by. We’ve had an amazing year with too many highlights to name! We celebrated our office’s first birthday, gave away MAJOR prizes (a Cruise to Cozumel…yes, we’re serious), and worked with awesome patients, parents, and dental offices. It’s truly been an unforgettable year!!
The biggest change to come in 2014 was growth! Our office gained three new employees and hundreds of new patients. We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to help patients from all walks of life achieve the smile of a lifetime! We are so proud of all we accomplished and have so much in store for you in 2015. We hope you’ve had the merriest of holidays and can’t wait to see you in the New Year! Check out some of the fun we had below!
Fun, Fun, Fun!
We love rewarding our patients for all of their hard work. After all, keeping braces clean ain’t easy! This year, we launched our Rewards Club and got to give away a lot of awesome prizes, including a Cruise to Cozumel! We had a T-Shirt contest, a First Birthday Party, we gave away a couple iPads,and even filmed a music video!
Community Involvement
In addition to all of the in-office fun, we love supporting our Germantown and Greater Memphis community. We were able to support a play at Farmington Elementary, sponsor a local baseball team, and hold our first ever food drive, which was a huge success! We also visited numerous grade schools and middle schools to deliver orthodontic emergency kits to the school nurses. We are planning to revisit area schools in February to do an oral health presentation with them!
Dentists and Hygienists and Referrals… Oh my!
As we mentioned before, the growth of our practice was a highlight of our year. We couldn’t have done it nearly as fast without the help of our referring dental offices! We are grateful to have partnered with some of the best and brightest area dentists who have helped us grow. As a thank-you, we made sure to visit them throughout the year to bring goodies and share our appreciation.
In March, we delivered St. Patrick’s day cookies. In May, we helped celebrated Cinco de Mayo with chips and guacamole and Mexican colas. All offices were invited to celebrate our first birthday with us and enjoyed Central BBQ’s food truck. In the fall, we distributed SEC Football calendars, and we hosted a Continuing Education dinner and seminar for dentists and hygienists in October.
We look forward to continuing partnerships with these dental practices in 2015!
Traveling the Country
In 2014, we also did our fair share of traveling, all in the name of better serving our patients. In February, Dr. Kyle traveled to Arizona for the Damon Forum to learn the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment. In July, our entire staff traveled to Atlanta for the Levin Group Seminar to gain leading-edge insights on managing a successful practice, and in September we had private coaching with Dr. Dustin Burleson, an award-winning, world-renowned orthodontist.
All of these trips provided us with useful insights that we’ve been able to bring back and immediately apply to our practice. We will continue learning more in 2015 about how to further improve our practice and we look forward to sharing what we learn with you, our patients!
Embracing Memphis in 2015
So, it’s been an awesome 2014, and we are planning lots of fun for the New Year! We have *new* Embrace Memphis shirts in fun colors (supporting the Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies), exciting new rewards for our patients (anyone want an Watch?), and awesome gifts planned for our referring offices.
We cannot wait to meet the new patients who come through our doors in 2015, and we are excited to get to know you better as well. Thank you for a great year!
